Crack The Code ‘26 – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Carbon 6 Brewing Pty Ltd
Unit 8, 38 Eastern Service Road, Stapylton QLD 4207
ABN: 32 658 003 868

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Participants must be physically able to travel within South East Queensland.
  • Employees of Carbon 6 Brewing and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  • Participation is free. No purchase is required.

3. Competition Period

  • The competition commences on Monday 2 February 2026.
  • The competition runs throughout February 2026, unless concluded earlier at the discretion of the promoter.
  • Clues will be released via Carbon 6 Brewing’s official social media channels on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:00 pm AEST.

4. How to Participate

  • Participants must follow Carbon 6 Brewing on its official social media channels.
  • Participants must solve cryptic clues released by the promoter.
  • Solving clues may lead to the discovery of physical prize caches located across South East Queensland.
  • Participants may compete individually or as part of a team.
  • Teams are responsible for deciding how any prize is shared between members.

5. Nature of the Competition

  • This is a skill-based promotional competition.
  • Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
  • Skill includes, but is not limited to, interpretation of clues, logical reasoning, problem-solving and navigation.

6. Prizes

  • There are six (6) prizes to be won.
  • Each prize consists of a beer and brewery experience prize bundle.
  • Prize details will be published on the official Crack The Code ‘26 event page.
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

7. Claiming a Prize

  • Finding or accessing a physical prize cache does not constitute winning a prize.
  • A prize is only considered won once it has been correctly claimed and verified by Carbon 6 Brewing.
  • To claim a prize, participants must follow the instructions contained within the prize cache, which may include:
    • Posting a photo or video of the found item
    • Tagging Carbon 6 Brewing
    • Using the hashtag #CrackTheCode26
    • Providing unique verification details such as a code, phrase or QR scan
  • The promoter will confirm valid claims publicly via its official channels.

8. First Valid Claim

  • Where multiple participants attempt to claim the same prize, the first valid claim received and verified by Carbon 6 Brewing will be deemed the winner.
  • Time stamps on posts, messages or submissions will be used to determine priority.

9. Unclaimed, Removed or Interfered Prize Caches

  • Physical prize caches may be removed, damaged, interfered with or accessed by persons other than valid participants.
  • Carbon 6 Brewing is not responsible for monitoring prize locations.
  • If a prize cache is removed, damaged, interfered with or not claimed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the promoter reserves the right to:
    • Declare the prize unclaimed
    • Re-hide the prize or a replacement prize
    • Issue additional or modified clues
    • Withdraw that prize from the competition
  • The promoter is under no obligation to replace a prize cache.

10. Verification and Disqualification

  • The promoter reserves the right to verify all claims.
  • Any participant who tampers with the competition, interferes with prize caches, provides false information, behaves unsafely, or breaches these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified at the promoter’s discretion.
  • The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. Safety

  • Participants participate at their own risk.
  • Prize caches will not be placed in restricted, dangerous or private locations.
  • Participants must not trespass, enter private property, disrupt businesses, or engage in unsafe behaviour.
  • Carbon 6 Brewing accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage sustained during participation.

12. Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carbon 6 Brewing excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

13. Publicity

  • By participating, entrants consent to Carbon 6 Brewing using their name, image, likeness and competition-related content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

14. Privacy

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition.
  • Information will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy.

15. Changes and Cancellation

  • Carbon 6 Brewing reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition if required due to safety concerns, interference, or circumstances beyond its control.
  • Any changes will be communicated via official Carbon 6 Brewing channels.

16. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
  • Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
