Full-time | Start ASAP | Award-winning independent brewery
Who We Are
Carbon 6 Brewing is not your average beer company. We’re fiercely independent, values-led, and driven by innovation. Based in Stapylton, QLD, we’re growing fast and pouring everything into the next chapter of our journey. With medals on the wall and fresh tanks in the brewhouse, we’re now on the hunt for the right brewer to help steer the ship.
This role exists because: a key team member has to step back, and we're increasing production to meet demand. We need someone solid who can bring consistency, creativity, and capability to the brewhouse floor.
The Role
You’ll be hands-on across all production aspects:
- Running brews on our production system
- Cellar work: yeast management, dry hopping, CIP, transfers
- Packaging: canning line and kegs
- QA checks, record keeping, and updating Breww
- Maintaining a clean, safe, efficient workspace
- Early morning starts and occasional evening shifts (on rotation)
- Some bar, festival and promotional work required
Who You Are
This role suits a self-motivated, skilled brewer who’s serious about quality and wants to have a say, not just take orders.
You’ll need:
- 1–3+ years of commercial brewing experience
- Strong cellar and fermentation skills
- Familiarity with SOPs, quality checks, and production logs
- A team-first mindset with an eye for detail
- Physical capability to manage lifting and repetitive tasks
- Formal brewing qualifications? Highly regarded
What You’ll Get
- Competitive pay (based on experience)
- A seat at the table, real influence on recipes and innovation
- State-of-the-art modern gear and clear systems
- A role in a brewery that’s growing, winning awards, and staying indie
- Generous staff discounts and beer perks
- A chance to grow your brewing career in a business that actually gives a damn
