Meet Reece from Carbon 6 Brewing

Bringing a wealth of knowledge to Carbon 6 Brewing, is Reece, our General Manager and Head Brewer.

Let's meet the man behind the beers (and beard)!

For almost six years now, Reece has been working in the craft beer industry throughout Brisbane and Ipswich. Starting off with Helios Brewing Company in Yeerongpilly, Reece worked under head brewer Charlie (now brewing at Woolgoolga Brewing) absorbing his wealth of beer industry knowledge.

From there, Reece made the move to 4 Hearts Brewing (now Stony Creek Brewing) to become their head brewer, pumping out fan favourite beers such as his Black NEIPA and Raspberry Donut Sour, alongside more traditional recipes.

The biggest move in his career so far though, was joining the Carbon 6 Brewing fold, taking the reigns of this brand new brewery in Stapylton. Reece has settled into the role of General Manager, alongside recipe creation and development as Head Brewer.

It's early days at C6, but he already has a favourite beer under his belt here, the Carbon Dry lager. 

No doubt there'll be many other beers in the not too distant future, vying for a place as his favourite brew, and we look forward to seeing and tasting them all!
